I just need some close pics of how the latching system and hinging works, maybe some measurements of the space to the end of the grab bar could help too, anyone with a flip top mind snapping some pics?

cell pics in a dark garage, best i could do for now. and i think everyones measurements vary from frame to frame, mine is a prp crf, if you're fabbing your own, just make sure the angle bars kinda tuck up into the "cup" under the rear of the plastic, and that you have enough height so the fenders dont bind into the grab bar when its opened.

doc... I dont know if you've put a seat and plastic on that bike yet but I doubt that seat grommet will fit that way. I don't even know if I could fit a grommet on mine at all. It needs to be switched around like a walsh where the stub is coming down from the top and the grommet is below.

He needs to flip the bushing in the flip frame. The thicker tapered inner side goes down. That's actually how all my flip laegers have been. Just make sure you put two good zip ties through it and your golden;) the stub on the bottom works just fine this way.
