I'm lookin to buy a gt xc link, I don't have a whole lot of cash right now and couldn't remember how much i had seen them for used before. I need it for an 05 450R. I have one question though do i need an airbox riser kit to run the link.

Air box should be fine I have one on my 04 with stock shock and swinger and nothing has ever bothered mine so I'd say not

I have one. You will need an airbox riser and a resprung shock at the very minimum. A stock shock will be too soft. PM me for more details
