Remove front plastics, remove gas tank, now you can remove the valve/rocker cover with around 14 M6 bolts - I recommend as you take off bolts, place them in an order like they would go onto the valve cover - they're all different sizes. Now that the valve cover is off, you can unbolt the two scews on the cam gear. Before I go further, have you gotten this far already, or is your question pertaining to how to get the chain off and out of the engine?

Glad you got the chain off. Just make sure the chain guides are'nt all chewed up,from the old chain.I made the mistake of installing my old chain guides with a new chain, and the new chain chewed up the old guides, which clogged up the oil sump strainer in the bottom of engine. The guides are coated with plastic. Just wanted to make you aware of this.
