I have a duratrax evader ext2 and when I go to give it throttle, it will move if I just give it really low rpms and go real slow but if I hit full throttle it just stops and I have to let go of the throttle and give it a small amount of throttle to move again. The battery is charged and the steering works. I switched the steering and throttle cables on the receiver and it still does it. Anyone have an idea whats going on with it?

Also, if I lift it off the ground and give it full throttle it will go but not full speed it seems like

Try recalibrating the esc with your radio, but it sounds like your esc is burnt up

Im sure if you did some brief research you could find a manual. Check duratrax's website

I did that but it is still acting up. could it be from a bad battery? It worked fine for about 3 charges though.

It sounds like a capacitor or 2 in the esc have shorted out. Time for a new one.

Your gonna laugh your *** off, I got it solved. I am charging it at my girlfriends and wasn't aware that a switch turns on that outlet, resulting in a dead battery

Weird, they don't kick off for a dead battery unless your in lipo mode, which I dont think that car has.
