has anybody here tried this rotor guard out on their bike? its for a 450r, but im almost 99% sure it will bolt up on a 400ex with the 450r rear brake setup.

Where does it mount to?

i dont think it will work. the 400ex brake stay has a flange if i remember correctly. that guard/brake stay doesnt have one.

well thats why I said it should work if you got a 450r rear brake setup, cause you have to use the 450r caliper, rotor/hub, and brake stay-- which is what this rotor guard is used in place of.

then i would say you will be fine. But i have no real idea. All projects like these are at your own rish.
