What is up with Missouri weather?

Its December 31st... We had a thunderstorm last night that dwarfs the ones we get in spring, and its 63 degrees? I drove to the auto parts store this morning with my windows down... Never seen this happen in all my years.

It was a high of 7* here the other week and today we have a high of 52* and t-storms. Makes everything really sloppy

I'm a Kansas boy and we had wind and about 70* thursday, then it stormed like hell last night, knocked power out and now its freezing outside.............
good thing me the wife and kids all went riding yesterday

dont like the weather in kansas/missouri just wait 15 min. it will change
