Hey guys, long story short I have a 250r that needs a left side case. I can find ATC250r cases all over ebay, but not so much on the TRX's. Are they interchangable? Are certain years interchangable? Any recommendations as to where the best place to find them is?

Thanks in advance!

85 and 86 ATC250R cases will interchange with all year TRX250R cases.

And plus, the old 85/86 cases are thicker casting down under the crankshaft area & are good candidates when building a big ol stroker motor when you got to trench the cases to clear the rod.

Thicker in that area, tends to have more strenght after trenching is done.

Just looking to get this one up and running again. Was fixing it for a friend and unbeknown to me the bearing carrier bolts were loose and the chain loosened up as I was jetting the carb, threw the chain and blew a hole in the case :( For some reason he thinks that it was my fault so I'm just trying to get it fixed on the cheap.

No real fixing, but just some tlc. Bike had been sitting outside for several months so I gave it a thorough cleaning, went through all the suspension in the front end, changed the oil cleaned the filter and rejetted.
