just went to my local dealer to buy some parts.ended up walking out with some protaper SE's,pillow top grips, and goggles.they only had dirtbike bars there tho.so i bought some CR high bend.my question is will they be to low?im still runnin stockers and hate em.i was talkin to the guy there and he said they might work, you dont want them to low to wwhere there gonna hit the plastics if you turn real hard.i dont think they will but im stilll runnin stock clamps and stem so its stock length.tell me your opinion, anyone else have CR highbends here?if so please post up a pic.i posted this in the 400 section also,im 5'7",hopefully theyre not to low.

high bend, they are clocked slightly towards me (protaper se's have a neat little gauge on the bars that tells how how much you moved it btw).

Im about 6ft or so and I find them comfy.

I'm pretty sure you won't hit the plastics, you're safe there.

Dirtbike bends on quads are actually fairly popular. By comparison, the stock ATV bars are tall, and really swept back. Putting a dirtbike bend on there will pull you forward into "attack" position. It's great for racing, because it's a very aggressive stance. However, like everything in life, there's a trade off. That forward aggressive stance gets old real quick when you're on a casual trail ride or otherwise lengthy ride. That's why you'll almost never find a bend like that on a Harley or other cruising streetbike, because it's really uncomfortable for a long period of time.

there's a few too many factors to be able to come up with a meaningful measurement of time..

I much prefer the ODI lock on grips. No glue to mess with and very comfy. I, my buddy and another guy I know run them and have no complaints.

Only issue I ran into is you kinda have to smack the clutch side on with a hammer or grind down the bar a bit to remove the diamond knurl on the protaper bars.

I liked them, but I would only get about 4 or 5 races out of them. That's about 8-10 hours of riding.

I have the odi rogues and they are by far the best grip I have ever had. They are so soft and comfortable to ride with. Plus no more grip glue or wires and the go on and off in just a couple minutes.

Ive only ran CR-hi on my 400ex. Theyre the most comfortable bar to me, and they fit.. though its a little close on the tank cover.

Good score dude!:D

hahah wow, old school Bill...

I ran Cr-Hi's on my 450R. I'm 6'0". I needed a +2 stem to even make them feel remotely comfortable. This was the best compromise for me, not too tall for sitting and not too short for standing, it was a good compromise.
