Can anyone write a how to on how to replace brake pads on a hydraulic system?

A very generic "how to":

The brake caliper will have two bolts holding it onto a mounting plate. Remove them, remove the caliper.

The pads will be held in the caliper by either 1 or 2 pad pins that will be threaded through the body of the caliper. The pad pin thread holes are often capped with another small allen head screw/bolt. Remove both and remove the slide the pads out of the calipier

Quite likely you're going to have to push the piston back into the caliper to make the new pads fit.

Reverse these steps to reassemble.

*use loctite on caliper mounting bolts on reassembly.

Cheers!

would i have to bleed the brake lines?

Just for swapping out pads - no.

However, if your caliper piston won't retract fully into the caliper, therefor not allowing your new pads to fit over the disc, you may need to take the cap off the master cylinder and let a little fluid escape.

Does that make sense??:huh
