View Full Version : Unpackaged some moving boxes and found this...

I finally got around to unpackaging some of the last few boxes in the garage, R parts. On my third box, I pulled out an unopened case box and heard a rattle. It makes me feel ill when I discovered this.

Do you think this is fixable? I have all the pieces that broke off. The left side case half is still perfect. Anyone have any recommendations on who to send it to?

That sucks! But it looks like as good a place to break as any. It should be fixable no problem.

Should be fixable. Not sure where I would take it.

I almost threw up in my mouth after seeing the damaged pic. A good tig welder and a steady hand, thats easily fixable.

AHHH I would be Pissed!!! A good thing is there is no oil setting in that little chamber it broke into so it doesnt matter if it seals perfectly.

when you said heard a rattle I thought at first you meant a snake!!! but this is worse you could have got ride of the snake alot easier

X2 on that. You can epoxy it back together. Tig would be best.

Thanks for the replies guys. I, too, felt as if I was going to vomit when I saw this - what a waste of a new casehalf.
