I'm going to get aftermarket a arms and have my shocks done by jet.

When they say +2 a arms is it 2 inches overall or 2 inches for each side?

if i get longer a arms do you have to get a longer axle to make up for the difference too?

You don't have to, but it will help handling in the corners. You want to be slightly narrower in the rear than the front (1/4" to 1/2" overall).
