rear fenders

can a set of 2008 and newer rear fenders be put on a 2005 400ex

i dont think the 08 stuff will. they are the newest style so they wont fit without the fronts, seat, and tank. if you had all of that they would work just the rears wont though, they changed quite a bit of stuff around including the seat/fender being one on the old ones and the seat separating from the fenders on the newer style. steve

I'm sure if you were truly interested in making it work there is a way of fabbing new brackets and whatnot to make it fit. If the '08 plastics weren't so expensive I would consider making them work on my bike.
