Please Help!!

I have a 2005 450r and just went to start it, turned the gas on and it started pouring out of the tube that appears to come out of the bottom of the carb near the idle adjustment. What could be the issue here? The thing will run fine but gas pours out of this tube if I keep the petcock open.

check to see if the bowl drain screw is tightened

im not sure exactly where that is but I can tell you that it has been sitting for a while, I didn't have it out once this year, just started it every once in a while to put some gas through the carb.

sounds lke your float is sticking take a screw driver or some kind of small tool and tap it on the bowl of the carb (the very bottom of the carb) that should take care of it .you might have to do it a few times
