checking oil??/

ok ino its a stuped question but when u check the level of oil with the dip stick do u screw it in all the way or just set it ontop of the threads?? thanks

Personally, I screw mine all the way in to get a more accurate reading.

I dont screw it in, its only a small amount of oil but its what I feel is better. Since the EX uses an oil sump system with a tank even a 1/4 more of a quart is ok.

yea this topic has been debaetted to death more then once. i would just sit it on top it would give u to much more and if u start to leak or burn oil when riding it it will give u a little extra security

Let the ex idle for 5-10 minutes and measure with the dipstick not screwed in according to the service manual
