Are the 06 Trx & 09 Trx valve covers the same??

The reason I'm asking is I want to put the 09 silver cover on my 06. My 06 cover is getting chipped up and I heard it is not good to powdercoat the valve cover, so if I could just by the newer cover I would do that!

The 09 kickstart cover is painted silver and will work on 06-up!

i am 100% sure they are the exact same cover. i know that cause i have interchanged them all year long. they have a different part number cause they are different colour.

Just color is the difference.
