it's a magnum brand cam, i've never heard of it, but the price isn't bad for the whole deal. Alll i would have to do is have my cylinder bored.

there was a discussion a while back on magnum but i cant seem to recall what the verdict was from it. I will look into it a bit and see what i can dig up. someone asked about the same kit you are looking at. lol it seems off hand that it was not a drop in cam but i could be mistaken since it has been quite a while. i will check on it a bit and see what i dig up. im interested to find out since it could be a drop in (and most likely is) steve

what stage is it? the stage 2 is a pretty aggressive cam, more more aggressive than even the stage 3 hotcam is. seems like it is a drop in though by most people. maybe some hd valve springs but other than that it seems like they are good cams from some of the reading i did. im interested if anyone that used to run them are still lurking around, maybe they will say something about them. I found a bunch of threads from 07 that like them alot. steve

i'm considering buying this kit and installing it. i am hoping i won't need to do valves but i might have to.

I have a stage 2 magnum cam that i took out of my 440 and I really liked the power, its a drop in cam. When I built my 460 stroker I replaced it with a stage3 hot cam, I didnt know the magnum was more agressive than the hot cam ,if steve is right maybe ill put it back in!

thats just what i found from my quick search on here. check out some of the specs and compare to the new hotcam stuff. I was reading from 07 so the cams may have changed slightly. I didnt look at the specs on it. steve
