It's time for a better breathing air box! What are you guys running? I am leaning towards drilling 1" holes in the lid and plugging them with White Brothers air box vents. Anyone using this setup?

I'm running these, it's a good setup as long as you put them towards the back of the airbox.

I think I'm gonna do this. I would imagine that its not very good it you ride anywhere near water. What diff does it make about the location of the vents on the lid?

This is going to be on a stock airbox. And lid. Can someone tell me about the placement of the hole in the lid please?

I run the outer wears on my modified stock lid. EHS racing aluminum piece. Could also make your own. Seems to work fine. he sells them on ebay or you can order them direct. Pretty trick. ehsracing.com

Don't waste your money on those junk 1" filters, the foam falls out and the tops plug up easy with dirt, etc. They're to small.

Yeah,
And DO NOT put the holes in the center of the box right above the filter. #1 it actually hinders the airflow in the box. And #2 any water that does work its way through that foam will fall directly on top of your filter.
