Yes they are a good bit taller than hogs. we ran them in the dry and they were fine . I have not had them in the mud. They are thicker and heavier that the hogs also.

We ran the Maxxis M940's for all of 2010. Had to plug one tire, other than that they held up very well and performed well in just about all conditions. Years prior weve tried snow hogs (too short for XC), Shredders (good but clog up in tacky mud and a tad wide). We are going to be running the new Kenda Kutters front and rear for 2011. The Razr Cross tires seem decent, we just bought a pair but havent tried them. They are taller than the Snow hogs but alot narrower than M940's or Kutters. My second choice for next season was going to be the new DWT JR XC tires but they are only 2ply tires.

If anybody needs i have a set of rear sno-hogs used only twice on the track. Just dismounted them from the rims but have the stock 90 rims as well for sale.

The Kenda kutters are heavy, I tried them once on his old Honda 90 and they killed the power.

Did you try the 18X8X8? They are supposed to be about 9.5lbs which is simialr weight to most of the tires available including the new DWT JR XC which is only a 2ply tire

Just got a set of the quad cross 18x8x8 and the seem to work great. My son told me he could tell a difference we had some of the maxxis 940's before. They seem to be not heavy either. Call g force powersports and get these you will be happy.

delbigmac sed it g force power sports has or can get what you need..
Or just go to a national mx race they itp has all kinds of tires there on hand.. the next one is in kentucky then they head up north. I ran the razor cross' last year and loved them. I wanted to run the mx cross this year but a friend of mine gave me the 940s and they work great until the track gets hard packed

if i was to buy some new ones they would be the quad cross' just my opion tho.....
