450 exhaust on 400ex

No. 400ex has two exhaust ports, 450r has one.

the slip on part may work with some mods but it isnt going to be a direct fit. the header will never fit as scro said. steve

Was also wondering if i could make the silencer fit. I think it would be pretty SICK to have a dasa on a 400ex

check around, there is someone who did it a couple of years back. it was a stock silencer though. it seemed like he made a sleeve for the end but other than that it seemed to fit decent. ill see what i can find. steve

I put a 450r slip on mine. I am still working on a different mount for the rear, but the way it is now is holding fine. Just want something a little better. I will try to get some pics.

Here's a couple quick pics I snapped. The bracket at the front I just drilled a hole a little higher than stock and used the same bolt with washer. On the back you can see that the 450R mount is further back. I used a rubber coated clamp with some other rubber gromets and a bolt. It's very solid, but I'm still going to try something different for the back mount. If you have any ideas let me know.

i have 2 stock full pipe for a 400ex send pm i guess and u can have them for free
