What 416 kit to get?

I am going to upgrade to a 416, i have been looking around and found a wiseco kit 11:1 for around $145... I also found a JE kit on ebay that 10.8:1 for $275. I have read many different comments and people are saying that the JE is a much better piston. I have also heard that the wiseco compresion isnt accurate, and the JE has more compression. Does anyone have any feed back........

JE and wiseco are both good pistons.

Wiseco is about .5:1 lower than stated value without running xr400 gaskets. those pistons are based off of the xr, the ex gaskets are slightly thicker thus lowering the compression a bit.

i guess it really depends on how much you wanna spend and what you wanna run. steve

the kits come with new gaskets, i was just wondering if it is worth it to spend the extra money and get the JE or just get the weisco

i have been happy with my wiseco along with alot of others. alot of people are happy with the JE stuff also. :D i wouldnt buy a kit without having cometics in it though for sure no matter what compression you run. that will also determine what piston you wanna run. you will probably have to run 91 at least with 10.8 where you can run 89 if needed with 10. i run 91 in my 10 all the time anyway but the option is there since i do alot of trail riding. I cant always get 91 everywhere so i have to take that into consideration. steve

Im very happy with wiseco and cometic brand gaskets.

Im running 11:1 and always run 93.

flipper is always a bit slow... we gotta let him catch up for a bit by the looks of it. he is starting to catch up more and more though. his typing skills are improving. lol
