Hello ATVriders,
i bought a +2 +4 Lonestar axle for my 01 Raptor 660 and i cant get the OEM axle nuts to thread on the axle threads, the nuts are too small of a diameter. so i called Lonestar racing and they said that it wont work with OEM axle nuts....which is the Opposite of what their website said. so i called K&K and they said that it does need special nuts but not the $110 anti-fade model. so they sent me some and they ended up being the rear hub castle nuts.

so i called them back and now they are saying that i do need the $110 anti-fade nut.

so i am wondering if maybe this is NOT a Raptor 660 axle but maybe a YFZ 450 axle??? cuz my race 450R has an Axcaliber axle and the OEM axle nuts fit fine.

can anybody help me out please??

i have pics if you need them but i will need some pointers on how to resize them :D

Thanks

i have lonestar in my yfz and the stock nut fits but its not 2 nuts like the raptor 660. i think the raptor will need a aftermarket nut. you might can even use a yfz450 nut.
