I heard that wiseco cranks are junk. What's your experience?

I don't have experience myself, but that's definitely odd since Wiseco and JE are the two big guys. Hope you find a guy with a real answer. :p

i wouldnt run one in a 250r motor thats for sure. the 400 ones seem to be decent but some of the horror pictures i have seen or 250r bottom ends in only a few miles in some cases are pretty nasty. steve

I have used 5+ wiseco cranks in a few different motors (including 2 different 250r's, one of which was a 330 making over 60hp) with no problems what so ever but now I mainly use hotrods cranks just to be on the safe side because of the horror stories with wiseco. I would say ive used 30+ hotrods cranks in everything from a crf450r to a 96hp stroker, alky drag banshee with no problems what so ever so they are def my crank or choice over wiseco these days.

thanks guys,

I told one of my buddies that i had bought one of these on ebay and he told me not to use it. I got it in the mail today and sure enough ....it's made in China. yippee!

Also did a search on here and saw some of the nasty pics. I'm convinced

na. already tried ...the guy had it drop shipped. just a marketing firm ..didn't even know what brand a trx is. we should just put an embargo on china or something everytime something breaks I look and it's chinese.
