There's a guy selling one on here - dunerdog or something - it's kinda pricey.
Do you want it for a 250r motor? I've got one that's a hybrid that could be converted back.

im not looking at Laeger in particular, will consider other brands Roll, Walsh, Lonestar etc but would prefer a narrow front if possible.

Laeger is the only brand that ever made that combo. Roll design is narrow front, but only has a no-link rear setup, Walsh has narrow fronts, but only has a CR500 rear setup.
The one I have is not really setup for any engine at the moment. It was originally built for a 350x but has since been changed, I have no motor setup for it right now, it was going to go into being a dual Z400/250R setup or CRF/250R, just haven't gotten around to it.

what is the difference in the cr500/ no-link setup over the stock pro-link? and can i still use my stock swing arm on one of those frames if i wanted?

CR500 uses a different shock position and swingarm and linkage, No-link has different shock position and no linkage.
You would not be able to use your stock swingarm on either of those and would require the whole setup with shock, swingarm, and linkage (cr500)

What's the benefit from the different setups?

from what I remember in DW many many moons ago, according to Wayne Hinson they put the CR500 linkage on Denton's quad because it allowed the bike to jump further, but without going higher. something about making it easier to clear doubles coming right out of corners and getting back on the ground faster
no links are supposed to track better in the whoops/breaking bumps and not so prone to binding up and bucking you over the bars...
