Tell us more about the bike! That thing is sweet! I love the old desert bikes. Is that a DRD & D (i.e. Roll) frame?

C41Xracer is correct. It's a Laeger. I built this after my first trip to Glamis on a 250 back in the early 90's. There was a set of twin bubbas with matching CR 500 powered "R"s. I said "I gotta get me one of those". I bought an ATC with that 500 motor in it. I mounted it in a stock 86 trx frame. Talk about chasing cracks. Laeger built a desert frame with urethene motor mounts. No more cracks. It's a no link with a slightly narrow front end. The motor is an 86 with a wide ratio gear kit from IMS. I don't think they make em any more. I found an 86 with a Roll swingarm and a Works Performance shock. It's been one of the best bikes Iv'e ever had. I raced the hell out of it in the 90's. It never dnf'ed or even cried. The flywheel weight of the E-Line lighting coil, along with the tall gears and tall tires keep it in the lower rpm's where the vibes are less. Massive torqe. I love this one. I wanna go test out my new front end right now.
