88-89 primary gear

Hey. I installed a hinson basket on my '87 R. The basket hits my primary gear. I hear that I may have to grind clearance on the gear. Does anyone have a gear from '88 or '89 that will fit without grinding on it?

are you wanting to see a picture for refrence? The gear isint that hard and is pretty easy to grind. just bevel the edge a little bit and throw it back together. Ive done it witout problems at all.

I hit mine with the angle grinder. Its back togerther now. Thanks tho!
