powder coat

Can you powder coat stock a arms 400ex, with the rubber boots left on. Or will they get to hot.

to hot. maybe nickle or chrome plat other than ball joint?

i told my buddy he couldnt do it and he proved me wrong lol he took the boots off and took and cleaned the ball joints out and powder coated them. Idk if or how long they will last but they are pc'd
