Hybrid questions

i have a cherry 88 trx250r frame i want to do something different. what 4 stroke dirt bike motors fit hight wise in these frames.

I"m new to this site but I have built a few "hybrids".Unless you want to go real small, like mini,everything with any real excitement factor is going to be too tall.Even an old 350x motor has to be cut into the bottom frame rails at least 1/2 an inch and then the tank has to be jacked up to clear the carb.IMHO save the "cherry"88er for a restorer and buy a frame for the motor you want.One with mucho gonads.Hopefully someone will disagree.

I agree on keeping the cherry frame for a restoration. Those bikes are getting more rare every day. Save the fabricating for a frame that needs it anyways

thanks for the feed back guys i might just build another 250r lol i have every thing to do it anyway.
