Quad Tech Foam?

My stock seat is just too hard! Anyone ever put the Quad Tech foam on their stock seat? I already have a Duncan seat cover was going to use that with there foam. Is it any softer??

Yes, it's more plush/soft.

you must have a 04/05. The 06 and up seats are really soft in comparison

Even the 06+ seat feels like a rock after riding with a quadtech foam/cover for a while. And if the quadtech hump isn't enough, the tall desert seat is that much more soft (Looks kind of goofy though).

I disagree, however the 04-05 foam is aging and if it has sat for an amount of time, they definately will get hard. Yes, the quadtech is softer.

I use to run the quadtech foam and I could tell a difference. It was a little but softer but it's not going to make a huge difference.

anyone have experience with "softing" the foam.. i just changed out the foam and its a rock! was thinking of pulling the seat off and placing "weights" on it to soften. has anyone ever tried this?

^^^ No, and quit being a wus. Honda padding is good. I actually have a bad hip and am awaiting a replacement. Honda foam has been the most comfortable with a quadtech cover. JMO
