I am having a heck of a time keeping my Kenda Kutters sealed on the bead, considering running tubes, anyone else have a similar experience? I think the tires are thick enough that the tubes would be pretty safe from frequent thorns, etc

I have used commercial grade bead sealer a couple times and they keep leaking after a day of riding hard.

Thanks

Tubes work ok for UTE's, but in sport quads, they sometimes throw the tires off balance and cause crazy shaking. Have you tried seating the bead while using a bead sealer? I use this (http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-20539-12PK-Indian-Shellac-Compound/dp/B001REYKPY) you can get it at autozone for like $3 a bottle. Just put it around the bead of the wheel and then seat it. Dont put too much air into it until it dries. 5 psi isnt going to hurt much.

Yeah I have used a couple grades of that stuff..... I am going to break it down clean and re-seal.

check the valve stems. i find it hard to believe you have used bead sealer and they still loose air.

Its the beads. Soapy-water never lies :)

Other than the bead leak, these tires have monster traction, love them, I turn a lot less wasted revs due to spinning the rear tires everywhere with these tires....

have you checked the bead on the tire and made sure that they arent destroyed? or are the rims bent to where they would leak?
