I like making my own bumpers and grab bars because it seems like everyone that you buy are kinda weak. I liked the design of this one but there was no way I was going to pay $130 for it so I made it for free. So here are a few pics of the one that I just built.

thats cool but their weak for a reason, its to absorb the impact to protect the frame

But I've landed directly on my 250 R's rear bumper from about a 10' high jump and nothing broke. Guess I was kinda lucky. And if I would have had an aluminum grab bar I'm sure it would have smashed it and probably have made me crash. I'll stick to making my custom steel bars. I make the rear ones longer so you don't flip over backwards if you accidentally go too far when you wheelie.

I was just trying to show everyone that they could make their own and save a buck. What, no one likes them?

I think it looks good, it saves cash which is always good
