will 08 a arms and shocks work on an 04? If so what if any differences will there be(travel,width)? any help will be greatly appreciated

The 06+ front ends don't handle as well the 04/05 front ends. I don't think there is much difference in the width and travel, but there is a big difference in the geometry of the spindle.

you cannot use the 06+ a-arms with the 04-05 spindles, the frontends due swap but you need the spindles and hubs from whatever gen a-arms you are using, the upper a-arm length is different between the 2 generations... if you are using aftermarket with camber adjust then you can usually get away with it
