go with the ltr... sleds are money pits. unless you have the money then get both

i grew up on sleds, bought a brand new one in high school... sold it when i went to college. i'm on an LTR now after a 400ex, and while i miss sleddin like -crazy-... if i had to pick i'd stick with the quad. trust me, i've weighed the options many times.

Get the LTR and if you think you need a sled later by and older used one.

Sleds are nice and I would love to have a newer on. I keep a couple of older sleds arond to play with when we have snow. The newest one I have is a 1992 Arctic Cat 440 Jag Special with the independent wishbone/a arm suspenstion. It is an air cooled 2 cylinder engine made by Suzuki. The engine has been in there sleds since the late 70's. Sure it tops out at about 70/75, but the front in lifts off the ground when traction is good (suprised me). Unfortunately (not the Jag) I know the engines inside and out, but they are really simple to work on. I think the newer ones are a lot harder to work on. I have about $300 in the Jag and it looks good and was able to ride a 1,000 plus miles last year and did not doubt it's reliability once.
