2005 rancher boot replacement

i am trying replace the boots ..anyone know how this comes off?? is better to replace the boots with the quick tool??? ...

Well I have never replaced one on a quad but on a car they just tap off I would give that a try but don't get to carried away.

if they come apart they normally have a Snap ring, to find it you will have to clean all the grease out. we use the quick boot tool. but it's not worth buying if your not going to use it much.
