Well here is my new project

Hey guys,

Some of y'all have been asking what my new project is..so here it is. 92 mustang notchback. Once I'm done with it I will have around 650 rwhp. My last stang had 550 to the ground and it was a gt, so this notch is going to fly.:D

You going to try and keep the 5.0? With as much HP as your looking to get im guessing your going to swap tp a windsor and throw a turbo on it?

I'm going with a Dart block that is a 331 with AFR heads Ed Curtis custom grind cam Edelbrock RPM intake...plus all the other stuff with a Vortech T-trim:D

Right now it's going to stay stock other then I'm throwing a blower on it, just to get me buy while I'm building the engine. I'm in the process right now of getting rid of the ac and power steering and converting to cobra brakes all the way around. I will be putting so saleen 18 inch wheels on it with drag radials in the rear.

damn nice 5.0! ive had 2 v8 mustangs over the years, last one was an 89 convertible LX and had 84 hatch that was a 2.3 car that i converted to 302 carbureted.. keep us posted on your progress

What made you decide to go with a 331? what tranny and rear end are you planning on running?

Yeah it's Bimini blue..with black interior;)
Well I was thinking of a 347 but I heard that there isn't alot of piston around the wrist pin and so I picked the 331. Tranny I'm not sure yet but the rear is going to be 31 spline with a eaton posi and 3:73 grears. This is my 6th stang.:cool:

You have the car I have always wanted. Looks clean and a great starting point for a project.

I used to have a 93 GT that I owned for about four years, sold that and bought a 03 Cobra, owned that for about 5 years and sold it about a year ago. I actually regret selling the 93, upgraded alot of parts on it and got nothing out of it. Wish I would of kept it and spent the money I paid for the Cobra on it instead, that is still my favorite body style, would love to find a clean notch and build it up.

The Cobra was pretty fun though!:D
