Steering stem

I have an Arens steering stem and at the top of it, it has plastic bushings instead of the rubber ones. My new bar clamp has the rubber bushings can I take the plastic ones out of the stem and use those or not? If not I need to find new plastic bushings because the bolts on the new clamp are too big, where can I find new ones or have some made?

I have some Derisi Racing clamps with the plastic bushings and they use a larger diameter bolt, might want to check with them.
