10 weeks ago i sent my R away to a company 120 miles away to be made road legal, just for getting from 1 trail to another have to cross some roads ,got it back what a mess .
They have bored holes in my "FRAME" ran wires in some of the stupidest places and just generaly made it look crap, and charged me 1700 for doing so

The easiest way to add pictures is to use photobucket or similiar site to host the pics, then copy and past the img code on here.

I just save to microsoft paint and shrink the pic to around 25% and save as GIF and it works fine

Let me get this right, so you payed $1700 for someone to do that to your quads!!! I would have rather paid the ticket numerous times then have my bikes look like that!!!! That makes my heart hurt just lookin at those pics. To think that someone could butcher up a quad like that and charge money for it!! Sould be outlawed. Thats why there are shows like court TV. So you can sue idiots like that and maybe recoupe some of your dough! Good luck!!

haha wish it was 1700 $ ,its 1700 pounds ,roughly 2583 dollars and thats each ,i tryed calling them just to talk about it ,but they just hung up ordered trail tech lights from ebay.com,will do it up right and get a aftermarket stator so i can run lights with my cr 250 ignition, like they were told to do,and not a crappy battery

i dont know what kind of legislation you have but I would definetly file for damages. If they cut into the frame at all you could argue that its dangerous because **** i wouldn't want my frame to have holes in it. try to get your money back .

you paid 1700 pounds to have your bike street legaled? really common man you can buy all that stuff online for like $500 and then mount it yourself. we here could easily have helped you with the wiring diagrams and what not.

here in canada you can have a dirt bike street legaled for 2000 and that includes the awsome supermoto wheels plus all the fancy stuff you got.

how do you mean whats going on with your front end ??? this the r or the shee you talking about ?
yeah really wish i hadnt payed them ,is there any way to strengthen the frame up where they ahve drilled such as welding on some flat bar ?
i thought it was hard to get them road registered ,apparently not ,if that crock passed un less there was money under the table to the examiner :ermm:

Yeah, you can't legally ride newer 2 strokes on the street here, unless they're less then 50cc. There are older 1970's 2 strokes that I believe you may still be able to ride, but I'm unsure of this. I do however know that there's no way a cop is gonna let me blast down any public roads, on any of my bikes without finning the crap outta me!!! I'd probably get my bike taken away, like another member on here wrote about. Opps!! So thats pretty sick that you're allowed to make ur bikes street legal and ride them across or on roads!! You gotta love that!! I'd be riddin up to the store, around town, everywhere. I'm envious man thats cool!!

Looks like crap. I would be pissed too. I hope you can get some of your money back. I would definitely pursue this.
