if its real carbon fiber it wont. plastic might but i doubt it. why not just get a heat shield for the header instead. im sure you could get one to mount easy enough. unless that is where you are experiencing the melting... which imo is highly unlikely being that the frame is there already. the header that is open in the front is where most of them are a problem. steve

yea the Header is not the Problem. it's right there at the Frame Guard. and i thought maybe the Frame Guard will help it . but i don't want the frame guard to melt

dude, listen, theres nothing by the frame for your pants to melt on. its your header. frame guards aren't gonna help it. either buy heat wrap or a header heat shield.

i Agree it's not the Frame.. it's the Pipe and if i bought Frame Guards it will cover where my Pants Keep Hitting and Melting. i can see where they are melting because i can see the Melted Parts of the pants stuck the the Exhaust pipe...

i dont see how. the exhaust is behind the frame in that area. there is no way the exhaust can be touching your pants in that certain area.

yea i know if i wear jeans it's not as bad but like Adidas running pants just melt right up. not the Crappy plastic ones . but some how they just get roasted. and it's to cold to ride with out pants. i think when im hauling my pants are flapping around and it hit's that part of the pipe and just starts melting them. i didn't notice they we melted untill i got off because i had 2 pairs of pants on that day and it just ate the one and started on the second pair
