trx90 saftey switch

does anyone know howto fix trx 90 so it will start in gear instead of have to put in netural all the time (thanks very much)

Yea, but you wont have the neutral light anymore if thats cool.

I don't have the diagram in front of me since Im at work,but the wire that leads to the tranny switch is dual purpose wire. Meaning, if the tranny is in neutral, 12v is used to light the neutral light. When its in gear, the wire is then used as a ground wire. Or its the other way around. I can't remember off the top of my head. Anyways, you need to find a way to have that wire be a constant "hot" or a constant "Ground" wire. Maybe its a constant ground since the light wont work anymore.

I tried it awhile back when we were building our TRX, didn't go that route for the simple fact my son was still new to this atv. So, it can be done.

I do recall its not the PINK wire either on that tranny switch thats a dual purpose wire.
