Clutch ? on Rancher

I have a 2000 Rancher 4x4 with a small clutch problem. It shifts fine but when I go to shut it off the centrifical clutch (or something in that part of it) spins for some time after words. I have tried to ask my local dealer, but all the service guy says is adjust the clutch pack or bring it in. I replaced the fly weights already and that did not help. I do notice that if I shut if off in gear it does not do it. It does not free wheel going down a hill either.
When it is sitting there idling it acts like there is a hick-up, it will catch something and die. If the idle is not set high enough.
If anyone has any suggestions it will be most helpful.

i don't know much about those semi-auto's but it sounds like the "clutch" is trying to grab in neutral. I don't know if you can adjust it or not but seems like it could use and adjustment. Where and how i don't know but hopefully someone here does.
