Wondering what kind if any everybodys kids are using for neck protection? My boy will be doing xc racing and was looking at neck protection and wanting some advice in what to buy.

We've been using the Leatt for a couple of years now and like it. my kid won't ride without it, and never complains about the fitting / comfort. he had a bad crash a couple of weekends ago and landed head first a la superman over the bars then rolled. the second thing to go through my mind was thank goodness he has a Leatt on.

their are others now less money. best deal ive found is to try to get sponsored by them on hookit. they have one of the best discounts for sponsorship as anyone Ive seen (like 1/2 or there abouts). worth checking out.

My son really likes his EVS RC EVO. We had to take a couple shims out of the neck collar to make it fit better.

We use a Leatt coupled with a Rockgardn body protection. Fits well together and covers everything.

we started out with the EVS but, I could never get it to fit right on my son, he has a short neck and his helmet would sit at least 2 inches off his head, and he never felt comfortable in it, We switched to Leatt and the first time he put it on he said u dont even no u have it on, and he never complained once, sometimes he dosent even take it off between motos just plays with it on,,deff worth the $$$$

I had a leatt and felt restricted. Switched to alpinestars bionic SB brace and it's leaps and bounds better, and much much more comfortable. For $289 shipped, you can't beat it.

Jordan has been wearing a leatt but we are testing the alpinestar
now and i think we are going to switch to it.

Both of my sons used Leatt braces for the last two years and loved them. We no longer need them and I would make you a good deal on one or both. PM me if interested.

My son has worn the EVS RC EVO for a year now and he loves it , he was 5 when we got it for him. That was after we tried the Leatt but he never could comfortable in it. He said it hurt his collarbones. Got the EVS one and no complaints. I still think they fit younger kids better
