it depends on what a-arms you have. stock a-arms and 4/1 is gonna be bad, +1 and 4/1 will be an improvement, but will be stock width. +2 and 4/1 will be somewhat wider, but could be bad in tight stuff. +3 or +4 and 4/1 is way way too wide. throw in 3/2 offset rims and +1, stock, its different, 3/2 and +2 or +3 is way way too wide. Generally, the more outward the offset, more bump steer and less caliper protection.

I have a 46" wide front on mine; it's a little wider than stock but plenty narrow for the trees.

You can get that with 4-1 wheels and +1 arms

I run 4-1 tech 3 hipers in the front with +2 arms. Works great in the woods 95% of the time. On the rear I run 4-5 tech 3 hipers on a +2 axle and have no problems. The nerfs help out a lot to help the rear tires clear trees in the turns. With this setup I am 46-3/4 in the front and 46 in the rear. I also use 400ex spindles on Nac's hubs. This setup widened out the front by about an additional 1 inch. I would like to get +1 arms or switch back to my 88 spindles. Hope this helps
