hey guys. i was looking in to getting a new sled. mainly at a 11 snopro 500. the dealer wants 8399... what the MSRP is from cat.. im gonna see if they can go down any more....
right now they have a deal where you go through cat and you get no intrest no payments till march 2011... and the he said the payments would equal out to most of the banks around where i live.

the main thing i was unsure about is if get a new one every year or every other year would be worth it. I was hoping they would lease them for a few years and then i could always just get a new one but they dont.

so what are your thought?
would i need insurance on this then also in i go through with financing it.

thanks

I just bought a nice 01 mxz 800 for 2k. I wouldnt bother buying a new one being a noob to the sled world. When it comes to quads i buy a new one every other year but i dont see the point as much in snowmobiles. You could save a fortune and find a real nice 05-06

x2 dont ever buy a brand new sled. it is a waste of $. and if you do, you better put insurance on it. 1 idiot, thief, or beginner mistake could cost you huge regrets. also dont get all excited just because there is snow on the ground either. Thats another mistake:D

pick up an 05-06 as stated above as the newest sled to buy. Those are a ton of sled for the $, and down to 00-01ish is where they are darn good also, and cheap.
