So i got offered a trade on my 05 roller plus cash for cody andersons last years Factory Polaris Race bike. I've even thrown the idea around of Trading my 08 Kicker i just built for it straight up. What are yall experiences and thoughts about this? and the Mxr450 polaris bikes. I seem to remember casey martin having quite a few DNF's on his at Nats.

they use XC KTM 450 motors so the motors are pretty stout i think. they still have carbs. thats a plus. i think they are just down on power and maybe not the best handling bike out their. vie seen pics of this bike you are talking about and the thing looks clean.

too each is own man.

I have a KTM 450XC I'm parting out and I also know Cody. The XC motors are pretty reliable if you do your maintanance. They can't take the really high RPM's though. A lot of torque for sure. Cody has nice stuff. He puts good parts on his. I haven't ridden the Polaris so I can't speak for handling. Talking to Daryl Rath, he thought they handled pretty good. He's raced them in a few different types of racing.

Your tools will not get rusty if you get that polaris, I would stay with a reliable quad like the Honda. That's my opion though.

just look at the people who race, who rides a polaris that is not sponsored by polaris??? VERY few, and there is a reason for that

Polaris runs a stout motor... I can't knock it.

I have NOT been on the latest generation of Outlaws... but I did like the previous ones... I just didn't feel like the fit-n-finish on the Polaris part of those bikes was quite as good and tight as the Jap machines.

Looks like they have changed a lot with the newest generation though.
