i might of rev the engine to hard warming it up and now there is loud tapping from top end anybody know if i bent the valves maybe or can they be adjusted its an ltr450 and rode it and nothing seems wrong just the noise. thanks everyone

probably bent a valve... Never do that...

I would guess to start with a compression test.. if a valve got bent , chances are it is losing compression. Yes It COULD still start/run fine but power MAY be lost.

Cold seize is more likely, even if it didn't seize all the way, it would have damaged the piston and possibly the cylinder, also resulting in noise and reduced compression. Yes, don't do that...:o
