Will a CR500 shock fit an ATC 250r without modifications?

I don't think it will. The ATC's use 250R type linkage and shocks and the CR500 uses a no-link type setup *I think*. I've seen different swingarms and shocks for the CR500 type setup on a R (also gives you an extra 1" of rear travel). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
