HRC Engine lowering kit??

no its not the walsh kit just a set of motor mounts

Dude i saw the same thing. the motor mounts make sense but those offset hole things are not making any sense.

what i don't get is how do you get the back of the motor lower?

yea and how would you lower the very bottom mounts that are part of the frame?

i think the offset holes are something to do with the swingarm bolt i dunno i cant see how mounts would even make a difference because the only good way to get the motor lower is by cutting the mounts on the frame like farrs old bike

So i found out what this lowering kit is. it drops the motor 1/4 inch in your frame for lower centre of gravity. the offset pieces go into your cases and offset where your pivot bolt go through and drops the motor at the back. now for the bottom motor mount that is welded to the frame. you don't run that. ive seen a lot of guys not run that mount for whatever reason. it was built for all types of riding/racing.

IMO i think any little bit helps, but your going the really chain saw through chain sliders now.

could be the difference from an 05 and 06

Rath has lowered his motors for TT on both 05 and 06+. I'm not sure if he does the same thing or not.

Wienen had this done by Rath the first year he ran Hondas. Not sure if its the same as the HRC kit tho???

you mean the year he broke his cases every race? haha

haha! that was the second year on hondas, when he broke all the cases. who knows the engines were prob lowered then too!
