Good front tire setup

Hey guys i'm in the market for some new tires (quad has original stock fronts and there getting pretty worn) but anyways, what do you guys run for muddy trails and field riding? I've always been a fan of razr's, and 6 ply is probably what I would go with. Ive never had the fronts though, just the rears on my 450, and they worked awesome for traction in all types of conditions and I never blew one. Just wondering what your opinions are and i'm open to all suggestions. Thanks!

I would get the razr 4plys. I really think 6 plys is going to be to heavy and is kinda overkill unlesss you are riding in really rocky conditions.

Ehhhh I like having the comfort of knowing I got 6 ply, I never noticed the extra weight and I dont race or anything like that so no big deal. It can get pretty rocky at times where I ride at too.

Then if 6ply is your thing than go for it. IMO Razr is the best out there.

Yeah I have always liked razr's too, which ones did you use? I always just went for the razr 1's.

RAZR 1. I have been using them for nearly 8 years and never had one problem.

Anyone seen the new bomb squad tires? Im wondering how these hold up

In the XC world, Razr2 fronts are pretty much the standard. Alot of guys prefer to run them mounted backward. If mounted correctly, they tend to want to climb out of ruts.

You prefer razr2 over razr1?

Yeah, the tread pattern is a little more aggressive. The razr1 seemed to push in the corners.
