why would you want a 250r CDI box? they have different ignition curves.

It doesnt do much on an EX b/c the EX's power drops off after about 9000 rpm anyways.

you are not even supposed to mix different year 250r CDIs. i.e. 86 wireing should not use an 89 CDI.

you referring to a trx250r cdi? or an xr250r cdi? the xrs work well, and its just a plug in

i guess this is a possibility :p i assumed he was talking trx250r not the xr one. most say xr when they ask about it. this could be just one BIG misunderstanding. :p :p :p :confused: :confused: :confused: steve

im pretty sure the trx250r CDI and the 400ex use the same kind of connectors so they can be interchanged(in a sense) but definitly not recommended.
