Cam cover and gasket question

What kind of gasket is under the cam cover?


Like if I want to remove the whole cover... am I going to have to have a new gasket?

it is a metal gasket that i have reused over and over again with no problems

Yeah the gasket should be re-usable, mine was totally fine when I took the cover off.

on my bikes i reuse the metal one also. i have reused them 4 time with no problem, that is as long as the rubber coating is not coming off. on customers bikes i always use new ones.
