Title on a quad

Going to be picking up a DS 450 in South Carolina in a week but they do not give titles with the atvs.

The seller has all the paper work from the dealer and the loan company.

What am I going to have to do to title this in Michigan. I haven't called them to ask what is needed because they were closed today. Just curious as to what I am getting myself into.

I would get a notarized bill of sale from the seller just to be sure. Once the quads paid for they usually mail the title to the owner (least thats how cars work).

The loan company holds the title til the loan is paid off.If the current owner doesn't pay off loan ,they could repo it from you

Quad has been paid for and he has all documents proving that the ATV has been paid off.

Got some time and called Secretary of State and asked what the process is since SC does not require a title.

They stated just bring in the MSO and a bill of sale and I should be able to get a title.
